JB and I received our referral for Caroline Thanh-Loc Spencer on Thursday. We offically accepted the referral on Friday. Her pics are at www.carolinespencer.blogspot.com/. The blog is still a work in process...you two are the first ones to have it! :0) She is just a doll and she has wild crazy black hair! We should travel in July. Take care and give Lance love from Sam and I...oh yeah Caroline too!

Interesting to hear how Lance's environment is affecting his behavior. Of course, you guys knew it would-so taking that into consideration along with the fact that he is two is very smart of the two of you. I try to look at 2 year old behavior in this light: they are asserting themselves and thank God for their ability to do that.

Lexi story for the day: At naptime this afternoon I told Alexis that she had boogies in her nose and that I needed to clean them out so she could breathe easier. She said, "no, mommy-my boogies are all comfy, cozy in my nose and they are going to take a nap in there" Ha!

I love you guys. Sounds like you are excellent parents already.

Love,
Judy

Hey guys. Just checking in. Looks like all is going well, in some ways it's like you're really roughing it. Hang in there.

There were no tornados here in NWA, so no need to worry about that yet, though we're in for a week of bad weather. If it IS always sunny there, you'll be glad that you aren't here this week.

Annie has her first piano recital this Tuesday, so you can pray for that. Next week we have her Musical, then the next week both she and Sam are in the variety show.

We need to get that boy to Shogun if he likes warm food. Never too early to start working on the mad chopstick skillz. OK maybe that's a ways off yet, but you know he'll be welcome.

Take care!

Just wanted you to know we haven't forgotten about you. Still praying for good times with Lance and praying that you all stay safe and well. Good to see you've had to deal with a couple of tantrums. We don't want you to think American children are the only ones that do that! Be safe and feel loved.

Hey--waiting for the next update! By the way, those two little kids in the playpen behind you and Lance are adorable! Which children are being adopted by the couples currently there?

I found another "adoption" verse in the Bible!: In love, he predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ --Ephesians 1:5...that one can go for you too, Cheryl!

Alright, a little short on things to say today. Love you much and look forward to your homecoming!
There is a shower being thrown for baby #3 tomorrow!

Love, Susan

I am so sorry that I have not been able to check up on you guys as much as I would like. I just got to see the "More" video. That was awesome. You guys are doing such a great job as parents. He is amazing and I can't wait to meet him in person. I hope all went well with the court date. Take care.

hey Guys! I have seen you post several times that his clother are a little too big, what size is he in? I am sure with all the new foods he will grow into them very soon. gotta love cookies and milk!! Also i may have missed this but i was a little confused at to what sort of foods he is used to from the care givers?

As stated in an earlier post, we have had several days of nasty weather, but the severe storms stayed to our west. There were 80 plus tornados mainly in oklahoma, kansas and nebraska. sadly, the devestation was massive for several of the towns and the loss of life continues to grow. we were very lucky the storms traveled north and not east.

So i see you have tackled grill cheese and possibly by now eggs. What about a burger and milkshake?

lance my boy, just check'n in on ya. seems all is well here and your parents are staying in high spirits for you.

weather is odd here in san also; super dry and hot. in fact, had a large fire just out past our backyard yesterday. i had to run outside to make sure the choppers right overhead were red firefighting/water droppers and not the black ones still jm. hehe. they did a great job and knocked the blaze down in a few hours. gotta love the firemen.

love you guys,
~uncle tim
